Teaching Background:

Wendy has worked in the dance industry for 17 years; she is formally trained in all styles including ballet, tap, and hip hop and began teaching/assisting at 12Wendy is a full time math teacher in the local high school district and began as a group fitness instructor because she loves being active and working out. Wendy has taught PiYo and Barre, along with adult hip hop classes.  Previously a competitive dancer her body craved more lengthening and flexibility training. Wendy was brought into the world of Lagree Fitness by Kristi and after one training session was hooked. 

Wendy loves when her students leave proud of themselves for pushing through the hard part and doing even one thing better as compared to last week. I look looking for new moves and ways to modify current exercises to keep things evolving for my clients.

The plank to Pike because it’s a full body burn and forces you to engage every muscle while working slow and steady moving the carriage. Plus, a little ab work never hurt anybody.
