Get A Toned Body Without Bulky Muscles
The old-school dumbbell and barbell routine has some disadvantages:
- It's tough on your joints
- It can bulk you up
- You risk injury or inflammation
…And don’t even get us started on those boring exercises.
There is a better way!

In one hour you feel like you’ve done everything. I never get bored.. there’s so many exercises. It’s necessary torture.

Attain a Hollywood-like physique with the lagree method
The Lagree method incorporates constant tension using slow and controlled movements on the Megaformer M3S machines, targeting muscle exhaustion with quick transitions between moves, keeping your heart rate high and your muscles shaking for the entire class which results in:
- High rates of burning fat
- Toned lean physique
- Minimal impact on the joints
Make sure to watch the video below to get a sense of how it works:

I have never hated someone more in my life (Sebastien Lagree). I’m actually still sore. I’m kidding. He’s fantastic…It was not your normal Pilates. It was, “work your ass off”.

"Love this studio! This is one of my favorite workouts (and best workouts in my opinion). LVL is so welcoming, clean and the instructors are great. They tune into your ability, goals and work with you to modify each exercise. The vibe is so positive and fun. From the clever phrases painted on the floor, to the friendly instructor checking you in, you'll be smiling your way through a challenging workout. Can't wait to go back!"
"First time I did this workout I could barely walk but couldn’t wait to do it again! The second time was better, I was learning the transitions from one move to another. By the third time I was feeling like a pro and couldn’t believe how strong my whole body felt!! It’s a tough workout, but totally worth it if you stick to it!!!"
"Whoa! This is a really great workout that had my muscles shaking all over. The first time was a little confusing, BUT my second workout was exponentially better as I started to understand the movements. This workout regime is definitely worth trying!! The instructors I’ve met have been really motivating and helpful. Instructor Nicole Lazzerini kicked my butt and kept my form in check the whole time!"
"Lagree Full Body is a challenging but fun workout! All the instructors are so knowledgeable and work hard to help you reach your fitness goals. I also recommend the stretch class! "

Frequently asked questions
How many classes should I take each week?
We recommend 3-4 classes per week if you want to see your obliques pop and your body change quickly! A minimum of twice a week is recommended. The more you come, the faster you will see results.
What should I know about my first class?
Make sure you arrive 10 minutes early! You need grip socks (we sell them if you don’t have any) and we recommend bringing a water. Eat something light and with protein about an hour before you come. We don’t recommend working out on a an empty stomach. Check out our New to LVL Fitness page for more info.
How do I purchase and book a session?
Download the LVL Fitness app from the App Store. Choose your location and book away.
How early should I arrive for my first class?
Please arrive 10 minutes early to your first class. You will not be permitted to take class if you are late. Late clients spots will be given to those on the waitlist at 5 minutes past class.
What happens if I'm late to a class?
You will have to book another class and you will lose your class pass.
How do I cancel a class?
Classes must be canceled 12 hours prior to the start of class via the LVL Fitness app. If it’s less than 12 hours a fee or loss of class will occur.
What is the best method of contacting LVL Fitness if I have a question?
Please reach out via text message with any questions. For Bakersfield (661) 412-3091 or for Fresno (559) 550-4581. Please allow up to two days for a response.
How do you pronounce LVL Fitness?
Its “Level” Fitness – let’s “level” up your workout!
What if I think it will be too hard for me?
It is always hard to try something new and the first few times may be a bit confusing as you get used to the Megaformer and the Lagree method. But Give it two weeks or maybe 10 classes and we promise you will feel stronger and more comfortable in class. We’ve had Olympic swimmers take class with a 75 year old woman. The great thing about the Lagree method is that everyone works to their level in class and the instructors can modify and advance all the exercises so that everyone gets a great workout that fits their needs. We also offer private sessions if you would prefer a private introduction!
How does the waitlist work?
If you are on the waitlist you need to check if you got into class (if enrolled in the auto text you will receive a text message). It is YOUR responsibility to remove yourself from the waitlist if you DO NOT want to attend class. You will be added into the class up to two hours prior if you are on the waitlist.
What is the difference between a FUNdamentals class and a full body class?
We recommend all beginners start with a fundamentals class. It is not “easy” so anyone can attend these, but it will guarantee that you will not be doing any advanced exercises. We taylor all our classes based on who is signed up for class so if you are new and the full body class is the only one that works for your schedule, that is fine! Our instructors will offer modifications and can accommodate you! If you aren’t sure if you should stay in fundamentals or go to full body, ask your instructor. They should be able to let you know once they see you in class.
